Due to the new Microsoft Vista platform, special instructions do apply for Vista users who download NavSim's demos.
The problem occurs when the demo is downloaded and it appears to be 'expired' before the 2 week trial period is complete.
This problem is easily solved by doing the following:
- Download the desired NavSim program demo
- Follow download instructions
- Once the program is downloaded, start the program.
- The program will run initially but a dialogue box may appear indicating that the demo is expired. If this expiration is premature, please do the following:
- Exit the program
- Right-click on the shortcut of the program on the desktop
- Click 'Run as administrator'
- Open the NavSim Program
- A dialogue box may appear: "An unidentified program wants access to your computer" Select 'Allow'
- The problem should be resolved and you will have 2 weeks to use this product from the date it was installed.
