BC Lite - The Quick and Easy Route Planner for your PC!
Whether planning a week-end fishing trip or heading to a new vacation spot, with BC Lite you can examine the chart, easily plot the best course, measure distances and mark the sites you want to take in along the way, before ever stepping on the boat.
C-Map compatible plotter users can load their MAX or NT+ charts onto their PC with a C-Card reader. BC Lite will display the C-Map charts with all flashing nav aids, embedded photos and perspective views as well as tidal and current information. Access to all marina information and a location search feature makes planning your trip a breeze.
If you prefer to navigate with a paper chart and a GPS, BC Lite allows you to plot a course or set markers and easily print a detailed copy of your chart to take with you.
BC Lite is the perfect trip planning tool for plotter users and those who simply want to navigate with a customized paper chart without having to take their PC on board.
In addition to C-Map MAX and NT+, BC Lite also supports BSB charts (Maptech, NDI DigitalOcean, Softchart) and the free NOAA ENC S-57 format.
BC Lite contains most of the planning features included in the advanced BoatCruiser 2.0 allowing boaters to:
